I just heard from the last school to which I had applied. I was accepted into a top 20 part-time program (avg. score 615-620) with a 540 GMAT score! For those of you who have been in the workforce for a number of years, you CAN get into your program of choice with a lower GMAT score if the rest of your profile is strong. I did it; so can you! (I refused to take the GMAT a second time because it already had sucked away too much of my life.)
Ironically, because of my low GMAT score, I checked out some other programs and found another school I liked better. I am now enrolled for fall 2008.
Good luck, everyone! The GMAT can only beat you if you let it. |
